Just A Suggestion

Postby Guest » January 28th, 2005, 3:48 pm

I suggest that if someone has the whole OOTSP study for their records still they post it. Just to get it up again so many people can use it. If you do not feel like you would want to post it, just save it and send it to me on msn or aim. Then I'll post it all. Maybe this will work or maybe it will not. We'll see.

:-P Peace

A short move

Postby Sven » January 30th, 2005, 5:48 pm

Well, for starters, we'll move the thread to the Space Trilogy forum, where you'll probably get a much larger readership than the Support forum.

Next, Kanakaberaka, if you're reading this, do you still have the Out of the Silent Planet study in your files? I can't find it in the archives right now. If you can provide a copy, we can put it in the Keepers forum. Even if all you have are your header posts for each week's threads, that would probably do.

Selah,
Sven
Rat! he found breath to whisper, shaking. Are you afraid?
Afraid? murmured the Rat, his eyes shining with unutterable love.
Afraid! Of Him? O, never, never! And yet -- and yet -- O, Mole, I am afraid!
Then the two animals, crouching to the earth, bowed their heads and did worship.

I am all for this, especially if the notes include a summary of all the Malacandrian words. Some of them sound so alike that I sometimes struggle differentiationg between them. I do know what a h'man is though. ;).

I am currently reading this book for the first time.

…on a night of rain Frodo smelled a sweet fragrance on the air and heard the sound of singing that came over the water. And then it seemed to him that as in his dream in the house of Bombadil, the grey rain-curtain turned all to silver glass and was rolled back, and he beheld white shores and beyond them a fair green country under a swift sunrise.

OOTSP study glitch

Postby Kanakaberaka » February 19th, 2005, 2:56 pm

Yes, I do have the complete "Out of the Silent Planet" study on CDR. But I have a problem with the disk reader in my PC. This makes if impossible for me to save a whole lot of e-mails I have as well. If I can fix the problem I hope to send the study a chapter at a time to Dr. Zeus. Untill then I would appreciate any suggestions by those with technical knowledge out there. Thanks.
so it goes...
