Let's see... My daughter still likes play dough, and I suppose you could sculpt many interesting characters based on Out of the Silent Planet and Perelandra...
Oh wait, you said Plato, not play dough. Sorry.

But seriously, this is a job for someone like Stanley Anderson to tackle. And this time of year I think he's busy practicing for The Nutcracker. All I can think of when you mention Plato was his analogy of watching shadows on the wall of a cave as a reflection of our current reality. Or was the Socrates?
