Oh dear, I fear that I have opened up a very big can of worms. There are whole books and web sites devoted to this topic. A very good source of information on the Enneagram (much better than me for sure since I am only a beginner) would be the book Enneagram, a Christian Perspective by Fr. Richard Rohr. (Anything more than this short answer would need a whole new thread.)
