Into the Wardrobe

My $0.02: the post above which mentioned "time shall be no more" was quoting (I think) Rev. 10:6 "that there should be time no longer". However, I think most other versions give this as "shall be no further delay".

And what about Rev 22:2? "In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations."

To become an eternal being is to have always existed. Perhaps God is truly our Father. Perhaps our immortal souls came from God, are embodied in this temporal world for a time (to learn through suffering?) and then return to God like a spark returns to the Fire, like a breath returns to the air, like the prodigal returns to his father's house. Perhaps we are all incarnations.

Origen taught something along those lines.

Hmmm. If we are also infinite and eternal, it means we can know God.
