I'm only a few chapters in to Screwtape. but I like it.
Just to let you know, along with some other Narniawebbers, I started a bible study forum. We recently started a reading group on Screwtape, if you're interested.

This book is one of the best works of Lewis. I liked the first parts of it. The letters are so awesome. It took me a while to actualy get it but then I got it. How Lewis did the first person was the best of all. It made it reall to me some times. :read: I love it.

I have an audio version with John Cleese narrating it. I really like the narrated version, since the book is in a more conversational tone (even though the correspondence is presumably through some metaphysical letter writing and not actually speaking to one another).

…on a night of rain Frodo smelled a sweet fragrance on the air and heard the sound of singing that came over the water. And then it seemed to him that as in his dream in the house of Bombadil, the grey rain-curtain turned all to silver glass and was rolled back, and he beheld white shores and beyond them a fair green country under a swift sunrise.
