The Poison of Subjectivism

Postby mgton » December 6th, 2005, 4:39 am

I was reading an article the other day for a paper that I was writing and the author used a Lewis quote that I really liked; it was from a book or essay called "The Poison of Subjectivism". I have looked for this title as a book and I can't find it anywhere, is it in some kind of collection along with other writings? It's late Monday night right now and I really need to read this before Thursday if anyone has any info. Thanks.

Try Christian Reflections; I believe you'll find it there. I'm not sure its in print any longer, but you can get it online used if it isn't.

It's in The Seeing Eye. I think this is still in print, but my copy is used.

"The Seeing Eye" is the renaming of what was originally published as "Christian Reflections". In my edition of CR, one essay was included that was excluded in my edition of TSE. I'll see if I can find out which one later.

Update - found it. "On Church Music" was eliminated from "The Seeing Eye". Does anyone know why? (Not editorial censorship of what would be an unpopular subject, I hope.)
