Questions for God

Could anybody point out a passage that might be considered as C.S. Lewis's response to the following non-Christian question for God? Thank you in advance.

Why don't you show yourself? You supposedly made us and want us to believe in you, right? Why the big mystery? You're also omnipresent, right? Why don't you show yourself to all of us at once and have a personal discussion with us? You can pick the date and time, we'll all stop what we are doing, I'm sure.

Isn't The Horse and His Boy considered to be evangelical? I bet you could find some good passages in there. Sorry, I always go for the Narnia Chronicles first. Oh, and definitely Mere Christianity (ch 2, Book 2)...how about The Pilgrim's Regress?

I think it's the one. "Evangelical" in that we see Aslan reaching out to people who are not Narnians. Aravis is Calormene (right?) but she is held to the same standard as the Narnians and given the same position. Kind of the Jew and Gentile stance. The Narnians aren't the "one and only" people. "Let whosoever will, come."

Aslan doesn't seem to reach ou to very MANY of the Calormenes, it has to be said.
