That's a possible, BtV, but Roger Green, in C. S. Lewis at the Breakfast Table, said The Brown Girls came from an image in a dream that Lewis had in 1922 and recorded in his diary. Lewis got several of his literary images from his dreams. Other examples of this would be Aslan and Mr. Tumnus.
