Lewis may indeed have leaned toward a transsubstantiation view, although he obviously did not consider it important enough to expound on it. His discussion of it in Mere Christianity seems to be more one of mystery than surity. And of course, Lewis is the last person we want too read to much into for capitalization, since he tends to capitalize anything important to him, especially in the realm of the Spirit.
