The Lindsey book is ok, but not great. He uses a similar technique to that used by Peter Kreeft in his book Socrates Meets Jesus. The technique of an observed classroom discussion, though Kreeft's books do it much better.

To my mind, a far better book that covers roughly the same subject as Lindsey is by the author of the linked review, Louis Markos; Lewis Agonistes.
Rat! he found breath to whisper, shaking. Are you afraid?
Afraid? murmured the Rat, his eyes shining with unutterable love.
Afraid! Of Him? O, never, never! And yet -- and yet -- O, Mole, I am afraid!
Then the two animals, crouching to the earth, bowed their heads and did worship.
