I am looking for some direction. Besides The Problem of Pain, did Lewis write on this subject in other works?

Welcome, itoconai!

You could try the chapter titled 'The Invasion' in Mere Christianity. There is some fictional treatment of the question in Out of the Silent Planet (where the Malacandrans have no word for evil, only 'bent').
Rat! he found breath to whisper, shaking. Are you afraid?
Afraid? murmured the Rat, his eyes shining with unutterable love.
Afraid! Of Him? O, never, never! And yet -- and yet -- O, Mole, I am afraid!
Then the two animals, crouching to the earth, bowed their heads and did worship.

You could also try "A Grief Observed". It was written after the death of Lewis' wife, and is a more personal treatment of the same problem.

If I were you, I would read The Problem of Pain, Till We Have Faces, and A Grief Observed—in that order. Then, I would read The Problem of Pain again.

The first is an expository work on the subject, the second a fictional work that is very concerned with the subject, and the third is a personal or experiential or autobiographical take on the subject.
