Is the phrase ‘not to what I think Thou art but what Thou knowest Thyself to be’ an allusion? The punctuation is a little ambiguous.

A question about Screwtape: Does anyone know which public library in NYC the original manuscript is kept?

It's in the Berg Collection.
Rat! he found breath to whisper, shaking. Are you afraid?
Afraid? murmured the Rat, his eyes shining with unutterable love.
Afraid! Of Him? O, never, never! And yet -- and yet -- O, Mole, I am afraid!
Then the two animals, crouching to the earth, bowed their heads and did worship.

Split and moved the digression begun on 30 December 2009 to a thread titled 'Time and Truth', now located in the C. S. Lewis forum.

Hey, everyone.
I was just wondering if the book ever got finished or if the plans fell through. It's been three years now.
