Where does this quote come from?

Where does this quote come from?

"I did not say to myself 'Let us represent Jesus as He really is in our world by a Lion in Narnia'; I said, 'Let us suppose that there were a land like Narnia and that the Son of God, as he became a Man in our world, became a Lion there, and then imagine what would happen.'"

This was in a letter to a child, I believe.

I found it on this site: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Chroni ... Commentary

And would love if any of you could verify it and basically all information on that page.

If the quote is correct, could you possibly tell me the book and page number?

The quote is from a letter dated May 29th 1954 which was written to a fifth grade class in Maryland. It is in the Fount Paperbacks book 'Letters to Children' and can be found on page 44.
