Hi :)

I'm afraid we're all left wondering. There are no more stories after The Last Battle.

"At myself. My little puny self," said Phillipa.

…on a night of rain Frodo smelled a sweet fragrance on the air and heard the sound of singing that came over the water. And then it seemed to him that as in his dream in the house of Bombadil, the grey rain-curtain turned all to silver glass and was rolled back, and he beheld white shores and beyond them a fair green country under a swift sunrise.

I would like to point out that some of whats in the Chronicles of Narnia could be compared not just to Christianity but to King Aurthur and his golden reign.

I was thinking how Guinivere and Susan seems suspciously alike, Susan's love affair with Prince Rabadash nearly destroyed Narnia, just like Guinivere destroyed Aurthur's realm with Lancelot.

Another striking comparision is that both Guinivere and Susan's sexuality and vanity to a degree turned them away from their country's and kings.

Of course Susan is much more pure then Guinivere, and her character is not purely Guinivere they seem somewhat allegorical when both are in all their glories as great lovelly Queens.

While we can not say anything definent about Susan, one might point out that Queen Guinivere in the end of the golden age repented, and lived out her days in a nunnery.

Just something to think about.

In one of his Letters to Children Lewis says only that Susan is left alive in this world and that there is hope for her eventual salvation. (Sorry, I don't have the book with me to post the exact quote.)

I suppose that Susan is like everyone who leaves the church in their youth ... there is hope for all, but only some will return.
