^ Thanks, Sven. I may need to do a backup and restoration of the database, with a reinstallation of the forums inbetween. That's going to end up being a lot of work, which also means that all the little modifications I've made will have to be re-applied (a rather large undertaking).

*sigh*

UPDATE:

It seems as though the forums have been hacked. Silly for me not to keep up on the latest versions of the software, but it would have been an ordeal to do because of all the modifications and tweaks I've applied since last July.

Well...looks like I have to do that anyway. What I'll do tonight (I hope) is backup the database, upgrade to the latest version of the forum software, restore the database, test, and then make it live. It won't have any of the modifications until I have the time (it will be a gradual restoration, I'm sure). That also means that some of the buttons and menu items won't work.

...of course, if I start tonight (in about 2 hours or less), it means I'll be removing these forums and many won't even see this message. :) I'll put something up in it's place so folks know what's going on.

I am sad to hear that someone with nothing better to do with their time chose to attack this special spot on the Net.

Rest assured that we were not personally targeted. It's not that hard to look up forums that have possible exploits and automatically run a script that will mess them up.

*sigh*

This really comes at a bad time, too, because I have some very important things to take care of in my personal life. Oh well...it'll all work out eventually, eh? ;)
