John, one of my many talents involve running a small newsletter on Christianity and politics called 'IMPACT', among July's articles will be an article by Elizabeth Evershed on C.S. Lewis and public life, refering to his views in 'The Abolition of Man.' Thing is, I am hoping to use a photo of Lewis and I was wondering if you hold the copyright to any of the Lewis photos on this website, or whether they are in the public domain etc..If any are under your domain as it were, may I use one of them!

Bump. I have the same question: are any of the pictures of C.S. Lewis on the site public domain?

Speaking of photos, does anyone have any ideas as to how to shrink them to less than 6KB?

Many thanks.

Welcome, Sylphide!

Just about any of the photo programs have a function to shrink an image. I think it's usually part of the 'Save as' command. Click on 'Save as', see if there is a button for 'Options' or something similar. You should be able to resize your photo there.
Rat! he found breath to whisper, shaking. Are you afraid?
Afraid? murmured the Rat, his eyes shining with unutterable love.
Afraid! Of Him? O, never, never! And yet -- and yet -- O, Mole, I am afraid!
Then the two animals, crouching to the earth, bowed their heads and did worship.
