It had been years since I'd read CoN. Small daughter, reading fast, was struck by Aslan's initial stern refusal to indulge Reepicheep's vanity. I'd forgotten about the scene that follows.

I do appreciate this "side" entrance to the Wardrobe. It's great to have the question settled so quickly.
