I am looking for the exact same thing! Have searched all through the bookstore and all other links on this site (and others!) but the cover kindly displayed in this thred is not what I remember. All I can remember is that it was definitely much earlier than the 1998 Chronicles of Narnia; it was animated, it was the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe (only) - in title; and for me there will simply never be a version to match it. I am also pretty sure it was broadcast as a TV movie (this was in Northern Ireland so we are probably talking about BBC or ITV) and to my memory, always at Christmas time. It would be fantastic if anyone can put me out of my misery! Thanks in advance in case!

Is this the one? 1979 is the original date for this one. You can get it through the Wardrobe bookstore at . It was somewhat recently released on DVD, so you should also be able to get it at local retailers. I just picked up a copy for under $10 at a local store called Pamida (a sort of smalltown Wal-Mart/Kmart). It was in the Christmas movies bin.

You may have heard someone talking about either the different books, the 3 BBC serials, or several different covers. There had been at least one other radio play and one very simple acted production made in England in the 1960s.

But there was only ONE cartoon version.
