Hello. Nice forum you have here. I am in another forum that discusses esoteric romance and troubador poetry. Recently, we were discussing The Romance of the Rose.
We mentioned different ideas about the meaning of the crystals that were present in the pool. In one interpretation, C. S. Lewis viewed them as the eyes of the object of love.
I was wondering if Lewis used a pair of crystals, eyes, or immersion of either in water as imagery in his writing. Does this ring any bells for anyone? I've read so much of what he has written, but it has been awhile.
Thanks for any attempts.
