Lewis is reported to have made the quote "I said, let us suppose that there were a land like Narnia and that (Jesus), as he became a Man in our world, became a Lion there, and then imagine what would happen." Where can this qoute be found? Thank you.

Welcome, Heavenbound!

It is in a letter from Lewis to a Mrs. Hook, dated 29 December 1958:

C. S. Lewis wrote:...If Aslan represented the immaterial Deity in the same way in which Giant Despair represents Despair, he would be an allegorical figure. In reality however he is an invention giving an imaginary answer to the question, "What might Christ become like if there really were a world like Narnia and He chose to be incarnate and die and rise again in that world as He actually has done in ours?" This is not allegory at all...

Letters of C. S. Lewis, edited by W. H. Lewis

Hope this helps.

Rat! he found breath to whisper, shaking. Are you afraid?
Afraid? murmured the Rat, his eyes shining with unutterable love.
Afraid! Of Him? O, never, never! And yet -- and yet -- O, Mole, I am afraid!
Then the two animals, crouching to the earth, bowed their heads and did worship.
