A paper A#Minor is referring to is called "Myth Made Truth". There are also a number of exhaustive resources on Narnia, with detailed references to names, places, themes and their mythological sources. Paul F. Ford's Companion to Narnia and David C. Downing's Into the Wardrobe are excellent.
