Hi everyone, ages ago someone posted a favorite nativity painting that I have recently been trying to find. I believe it was an Adoration of the Shepherds picture, but I don't remember whose. The best part about it was the expression on the face of one girl off to the side. Anyone remember? Thanks!

I don't remember the specific post, Estel. We've had so many nice nativity scenes posted. Was it this Francois Boucher one, by any chance?

Rat! he found breath to whisper, shaking. Are you afraid?
Afraid? murmured the Rat, his eyes shining with unutterable love.
Afraid! Of Him? O, never, never! And yet -- and yet -- O, Mole, I am afraid!
Then the two animals, crouching to the earth, bowed their heads and did worship.

Look at this site, Estel. I wasn't part of the original posting so don't recall the picture at all, but I believe this site has all the "Adoration of the Shepherds" paintings.

That's a beautiful painting. The site looks great too.
