I have read somewhere, that on each author there's copyright for a certain time period since he had departed...
I have forgotten the year, on which will be Lewis's works for free,
like e.g. G.K.Chesterton's:
does anyone know?

In England, copyright on written works and music lasts for 70 years after the composer's/author's death.
Copyright on photographs lasts for 50 years after they have been taken (I think).
Copyright on typeset editions lasts 25 years.

In the US, the books will enter the public domain 95 years after their publication. So, for example, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe will enter the public domain January 1st 2046.
In Europe, Lewis' books will enter the public domain 70 years after his death (January 1st, 2034)
