Platonic foundations?

Platonic foundations?

Postby Cees-Jan Smits » 10 Apr 2007, 23:42

Does anyone know something about platonic foundations in the works of C.S. Lewis? Does he use the platonic concept of forms in The Great Divorce? Is Transposition, just like Chapter 15 of The Last Battle, an reflection of Plato's Parable of the Cave?

Thanks in advance,

Rat! he found breath to whisper, shaking. Are you afraid?
Afraid? murmured the Rat, his eyes shining with unutterable love.

Then the two animals, crouching to the earth, bowed their heads and did worship.
