screwtape letters on vinyl record

screwtape letters on vinyl record

Postby aaron1wii » 02 Oct 2007, 06:22

I recently came across The Screwtape letters on a vinyl record, it has two records, a nice album cover and a little book with it. I have looked everywhere for any info on it and i have turned up nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time

Stanley was talking about that edition not long ago, on a thread about Lindskoog and Hooper. If you can't find it easily, I'll send a link when I'm back at my other computer.

I'm not sure it is the same -- my boxed set (not an "album cover" as one might see on an old "double album" like the Beatles "White Album") has six records in it. And the book with mine is not a "little book", but a large oversized paperback. But perhaps it is an excerpted version of the same? (I kind of doubt it though).

…on a night of rain Frodo smelled a sweet fragrance on the air and heard the sound of singing that came over the water. And then it seemed to him that as in his dream in the house of Bombadil, the grey rain-curtain turned all to silver glass and was rolled back, and he beheld white shores and beyond them a fair green country under a swift sunrise.

Thank you very much for the correction. I should have said 'Stanley was talking about a vynyl record' instead of assuming they would be the same (having forgotten the details of the edition you described).
