There have been several "scam the scammer" stories around, including this one, which tricks the scammer into getting a tattoo that represents the church of the person he's trying to get money from.
Perhaps this is the one you're referring to?

Nice to see you again too. Yes, you've got it exactly right, thanks for finding it. I did try to search it, but I called it "Nigerian scam" and nothing came up. Its so good to read that again.
