I have to do a debate where I am required to convince my audience that C. S. Lewis' solutions to the world's problems as indicated in the Screwtape Letters are overly simplistic and largely irrelevant to us today. I don't agree with this and thus I am having a reeaaaallly hard time finding evidence to back up this claim. Can anybody help me or at least point me in the right direction?

Hi, have you tried reading and summarising each chapter and the 'sins'/temptations being proposed in each- then constructing an argument suggesting that people are above/beyond such temptations or behaviours nowadays?
It's quite a difficult assignment!
