The Shoddy Lands

Does anyone know if "The Shoddy Lands" has ever been turned into a script and performed anywhere? I would be very interested in learning more about it, as our church group has just started looking into to possibly doing it as a group activity. Any help you can provide would be great!

I believe you must be referring to The Shadowlands and yes, it's been performed as a play several times all over the world. As far as where to get the script, I'm afraid I don't have that information for you. Perhaps somebody else does.

"The Shoddy Lands" (if this is what Kathryn means) is also an essay of Lewis's, I have it in The Dark Tower and other stories. Glancing over the text my feeling is that it would be quite hard to dramatise as the main effects are visual - i.e. some objects shapeless and barely distinguishable, others exaggerated in size and characteristics. It could be done as a cartoon...
