Project Steve!

This is the reductio argument of the year. It's hilarious. I know I'm supposed to be serious about this debate, but the fact that there are as many Steves who have signed in support of evolution theory as there are on the Discovery Institute's famous petition is fabulous. How did you find this? Can we do David next year?

Some of the most interesting questions and discussions on the GC forum come from non-Christians. I think those questions are very valuable, because they force us to examine why we believe what we do, and give us this opportunity:

1 Peter 3:15 But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect....
I have always imagined that paradise will be a kind of library. -- Jorge Luis Borges

Several reasons (whcih I did think were self-explanatory but there you go):

1) The question was addressed to Christians.

2) Everyone who I have ever encountered in the internet world arguing against evolution has been a Christian.

3) Generally the evolution/creationism debate is between a small minority of Christians arguing with a huge majority of Christians and non-Christians alike.

4) I figured I was more likely to get a response from my target audience if I put it here.

So it seemed the obvious place.

I am curious as to what your response would have been to the cardboard cut out thing. Don't worry about offending me, it's pretty impossible and I find it hugely amusing when people try so, go ahead.
