How do you make non believers feel?

To jump back to the very beginning: (bear with me here)

It is because I see them as fellow human beings that I see them as potential converts. Jude 22-23: "Be merciful to those who doubt; snatch others from the fire and save them; to others show mercy, mixed with fear - hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh." (emphasis mine)

It's not because of some sort of intellectual snobbery that I want to convert someone ("I'm right and you're wrong.") but because I genuinely want them to share in the eternal life I have through Christ Jesus. I really do. And I don't think there's anything mean or pushy about that, even if I do hurt some people's feelings by suggesting (gasp) that someone might have a wrong idea (it does happen, you know).

Interesting, very interesting thread. It seems like the Christian attitude towards unbelievers, seems very neutral, or at least from the people who frequent this forum.

However would it be fair to say that the further away someone gets from Christianity, the views of Christians change, in terms of seeing them as fellow human beings. For example, if a Christian meet and biblical Satanist, who believed in human sacrifice, ritual possession and completely disobeying the Ten Commandments. Would they still view them as a fellow human being and respect their faith. Just wondering?

Also i was very surprised, and quite happy to hear only a little mention on converting people. This tendency seems to be dropping away, and respect seems to be more prevalent, at lest to the well known religions.

just, my comments and thoughts.
