Of course I've been too close to see, the answers right in front of me! ~~Jack Skellington

It is significant that the apostle Paul never discussed "creationism" or any other theory of the earth's origins. In fact he tells the "wise" people of Corinth that he is resolved to know only "Christ and him crucified." While a strident minority in the US is trying to make our salvation dependent upon holding the "correct" theory about things which are ultimately unknowable, the vast majority of American Christians still find the assurance of their salvation where it has always been -- the Cross.

Rat! he found breath to whisper, shaking. Are you afraid?
Afraid? murmured the Rat, his eyes shining with unutterable love.
Afraid! Of Him? O, never, never! And yet -- and yet -- O, Mole, I am afraid!
Then the two animals, crouching to the earth, bowed their heads and did worship.
