Arthur,

Thank you for your question. Neither in this or your previous question did I sense belittlement, in the slightest, of anyone or anyone's tradition.

From an Anglican/Episcopal perspective, I might suggest the following, for starters:

John Macquarrie. A Guide to the Sacraments;

Michael Ramsey. The Anglican Spirit.

Your interests also might suggest checking out the Anglican Roman Catholic International Commission, established by Pope Paul IV and Archbishop Michael Ramsay, in 1970. Their early work focused on Eucharist; they just recently published their latest effort: "Mary: Grace & Hope in Christ."

Regards.

Malcom,

Gratia vobis et pax.

Given your commitment of faith and your interest in such things, if you have not yet had a chance to read Eucharist: Theology and Spirituality of the Eucharistic Prayer by Louis Bouyer, University of Notre Dame Press, 1968 [ISBN: 0268004986], I would recommend it. It's a classic. This is one of the most important Roman Catholic critical studies of the development of the Eucharistic Canon.

And, by the way, even as an Anglican, I have to let you know that it has one of the most effective, cogent critiques ever written of Cranmer's Book of Common Prayer eucharistic consecration!

Given the extent of your studies, it's very likely that you've read this volume, but if not, I'm sure that you would find it worthwhile.

All the best.
