Even if he were a threat to society, you could just lock him up for life. Gosh..

Then said Littleheart son of Bronweg: "Alas for Gondolin."
And no one in the Room of Logs spake or moved for a great while.
Pro published order! Poster of The Wardrobe's 40,000th post. That earns no merit, but I feel pretty cool about it anyway.

"But if the Witch could have looked a little further back, into the stillness and the darkness before Time dawned, she would have read there a different incantation. She would have known that when a willing victim who has committed no treachery was killed in a traitor's stead, the Table would crack and Death itself would start working backwards." - The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe

Pehaps those who kill others should consider the consequences before they do the crime. I have no problem with capital punishment. I am more concened with restitution to the victims, victims family ect. I dont feel there is enough imput from the victims of the crimes as it is.

Barbara,

Thank you for your post. I would say that the Ten Commandments were brought to their fulfillment by Jesus. Therefore, to be complete, any argument which uses the Commandments as justification must surely refer to Him. Was Jesus in favour of the death penalty?
