Well, now I know. It's a little disconcerting to realise how much my own thinking is part of a 'movement'. Here am I trying to be my own person only to discover I'm merely one in a mass, influenced by those around me and in turn influencing others.

Emergent/Postmodern 82%
Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan 64%
Neo orthodox 64%
Modern Liberal 50%
Roman Catholic 46%
Classical Liberal 39%
Charismatic/Pentecostal 25%
Reformed Evangelical 25%
Fundamentalist 4%
“And turn their grief into song?" he replied. "That would be a gracious act and a good beginning."

You scored as Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan.

You are an evangelical in the Wesleyan tradition. You believe that God's grace enables you to choose to believe in him, even though you yourself are totally depraved. The gift of the Holy Spirit gives you assurance of your salvation, and he also enables you to live the life of obedience to which God has called us. You are influenced heavly by John Wesley and the Methodists.

Hmm....I'm not even really aquainted with Wesley. Perhaps I ought to look into his teachings?

Some of these are hard to answer because I'm not quite sure what they mean or they are not specific enough.

Heh, another of these said I was Amish. I actually thought that was prett far fetched until a friend pointed out some rather strong parallels between my aproach to society and the Amish.

“First they came for Abdul Rahman and I spoke out because I was a Muslim. Then they came for the Palestinians and I raised hell because I was a Jew. Then they came for the Iraqis and I protested because I was an American. Then they came for the Muslims and I spoke out because I was a Christian, Then they came for the poor and I spoke out because I was rich. By the time they came for me, I had all the support a man could ask for.”
