Telford Town Centre Bus Station is actually a bit of surprise in this day and age.

(And yes.. It's one that I am PLEASED to be mentioning)

About a year ago they started "piped" music.

This is quite quietly played, a sort of background music, rather than drowning out type stuff.

And what do they play? .. a mix of... CLASSICAL!!!!

And for the past few weeks, what have they been playing?

Christmas Carols. Honest to goodness Christmas Carols.. as sung by choirs!

(They do do an occasional "modernistic selection interspersed though.. Jingle Bells , Winter Wonderland done by those ballad type singers)

Now.. if they could only get rid of the intending passengers and other layabouts that frequent the place, it would be pleasent to sit there awhile and just listen
