You are right; it is taking it a bit far to claim that anyone is a superhero. But this begs the question, What is a superhero? Is it a fictional character, something based on fact, or a real person? I personally prefer to think of people as being outside such narrow distinctions, at least until after they have died. There are several deceased people I think could plausibly be seen as 'in-context of their time, place, and abilities' superheroes, and qualify for "superhero-hood." (If you want practical application though, could always look at how I applied superheroes in the Kingship in Narnia topic . . . and hopefully resurrect it. :toothy-grin:)
