Well just to clarify. I thought you were saying all of ethics could be deduced from a single premise which you could teach to children from a young age. I thought there were all kinds of problems with that. I thought you were denying that we have an intuition which at the very least enables us to recognize ethical statements as ethical statements and because you were denying that were claiming that that in order to teach children to act ethically we would have to begin by giving an all encompassing definition of ethics. I thought there were huge problems with that. Then you said things that made it clear that was not what you were saying, so even though I was not sure exactly what you were saying I was pretty sure you were not saying the things I had problems with but were saying something more like what I had been saying - so I thought we were if not exactly agreeing then at least not definitely disagreeing so I thought we might as well call it quits. Unless you were saying the things I thought you weren't saying.
