Yes, Sven. . . I suspect that the writer must have confused St. George with Bel. Easy mistake. . . there were dragons in both stories, eh? :wink:

Incidentally, in the Orthodox church, is commemorated on April 23rd. :toothy-grin:

Sven, that's a good idea. I haven't seen the item, so I don't know exactly what the picture looks like. It's a Coptic manuscript, so unless those Ethiopians were real Anglophiles, I don't think it's St. George. :rolleyes:
