"What are you laughing at?"
"At myself. My little puny self," said Phillipa.

This is one of the coolest scientific projects undertaken. It will deliver to its thin stream of ions the energy of a locomotive and generate millions of simultaneous collisions each more energetic than anything we've studied before.

It is also the clear demonstration of the restoration of European supremacy in Physics after talent fled to America during and before World War II and then the incomprehensible stupidity of the U.S. budget approval process gave the ball back to CERN 20 years ago by leaving the U.S. Large Hadron Collider unfinished (now a giant water-filled tunnel in Texas.)

Hats off to CERN.

May nothing look familiar when the lid comes off the box!

How would telling people to be nice to one another get a man crucified? What government would execute Mister Rogers or Captain Kangaroo?

Seems the scientists on this project made a describing their experiment. It's really kind of cool.
