Is it specifically to do with Easter as it is celebrated by Christians today, or can you link it to Eostre? That would be an interesting read.

Here are some rituals that women might have performed around Eostre:

Something else I'd like to add: there is a great podcast run by two jolly fellows - Bill and Steve (who actually shipped me a free study Bible, btw) and they're running a series on Mary now: http://ancientfaith.com/podcasts/ourlife
The whole radio station is great, but this is one of my favorite podcasts.

"Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that." - Martin Luther King
