What do you think of this? Do agnostics and atheists have as much right to advertise what they believe as religions do?

…on a night of rain Frodo smelled a sweet fragrance on the air and heard the sound of singing that came over the water. And then it seemed to him that as in his dream in the house of Bombadil, the grey rain-curtain turned all to silver glass and was rolled back, and he beheld white shores and beyond them a fair green country under a swift sunrise.

It's amazing how much God has gone from being thought of as a source of salvation to being thought of as a source of condemnation, so that the subtext can be "stop worrying and enjoy your life."
Sentio ergo est.

Those are very interesting comparisons Stanley. Would you like to expand on what you mean by those particular choices?

I suddenly realized something about Mr. Dawkins after reading some of the stuff on his website. He says the only thing he has in common with religious fundamentalists is a passion for what he holds to be true. In fact the reason why the label fundamentalist is valid for him and the other new atheists is their extreme lack of empathy for other wordviews. Here's the piece that made me realize this:

Also like to know what any Roman Catholica make of this
So I drew my sword and got ready
But the lamb ran away with the crown
