I might be interested, especially if we went with The Silmarillion.

(I'm already well into my "50th anniversary reading" of TLotR, well enough that this reading already has it momentum and character that I would prefer to maintain.)

Thanks for the suggestion; I like the idea and hope that we can gather a nice group for the endeavor.

Regards.

How about starting next week?

Would you mind setting up a reading schedule?

Thanks.

What do you think, A# minor? I agree, only two readers would not have make a very lively group. But now that Leslie is in on this, that makes three. And if we start a Silmarillion thread, with a reading schedule, others might well join in, as well.

If you would rather not design the schedule, I'd be willing to do so. Just let me know. If we do begin this, I would prefer to start early next week.

Regards.

I won't be able to keep up if it goes too fast. The Silmarillion is a slow read for me. I have to keep stopping to figure out who the characters are, and to refer to the family trees in the appendix.
