Useful Tolkien Links

Postby Guest » July 6th, 2005, 4:33 pm

There is so much in Tolkien's books for us to discuss and there are probably twice as many web sites that would be helpful in that discussion. With that in mind, I would like to propose a thread for 'useful Tolkien links'

My suggestion would be the expansive and nicely laid out

for those wanting to learn/improve their elvish, www.ardalambion.com is great.
Do you mean to say that you three come from a round world (round like a ball) and you've never told me!

The following is a Tolkien bibliography that I put together and is available on line in my own parish website:

http://goodshepherdogden.org//bibliography_tolkien.html

And in terms of useful Tolkien links, the following are ones that I find especially interesting/helpful:

The Tolkien Society-UK
http://www.tolkiensociety.org/

Mythopoeic Society (also includes resources on Lewis and Charles Williams)
http://www.mythsoc.org/

The Elvish Linguistic Fellowship
http://www.elvish.org/
we have not loosely through silence permitted things to pass away as in a dream
