50th Anniversary of TLotR

Postby Adam Linton » July 14th, 2005, 2:07 pm

20 October will be the 50th Anniversary of the publication of the third volume of TLotR, The Return of the King. I just began my anniversary re-reading of the whole; I'm pondering a special Middle-earth party for the October date (we've done such things at my parish before).

Anyone else with similar plans?

And, if anyone is near Utah, I'd be glad to invite you to the party here.

Regards.

Unfortunately, I don't know enough people who can read, much less who can read Tolkien, in order to have a Tolkien Anniversary party here in Georgia. ( No offense to my fellow redneck Georgians.)
But I will gladly attend your party in spirit.
