I've just been listening to the BBC dramatization of LOTR and realized that Tom Bombadil is completely left out of it, as is Old Man Willow and Goldberry, and all the Old Forest! Poor old Tom! He is left out of everything, isn't he? Nobody wants him, poor ol' fellow.
