"What are you laughing at?"

Fredegar to Frodo, about going through the Old Forest.

'I don't think you will find it that way,' he whispered. 'It isn't easy to find.'
"What are you laughing at?"
"At myself. My little puny self," said Phillipa.

Pippin telling Grishnakh that he won't find the Ring, Chapter The Uruk-hai

"'I would,' she said. 'That is how it would begin. But it would not stop with that, alas! We will not speak more of it. Let us go!' "

Galadriel to Sam, in "The Mirror of Galadriel", about what would happen if she took the Ring.

I have crossed many mountains and many rivers, and trodden many plains, even into the far countries of Rhun and Harad where the stars are strange.

AH!! I have been waiting to get in on this. But every time I check on this game it's a quote I can't remember. I have some rereading to do. I think i know this one though. That has to be Aragorn. At the council of Elrond?

In the absence of Aslans'Girl, I shall supply an appropriate quote myself.

"I have spoken words of hope. But only of hope. Hope is not victory. War is upon us and all our friends, a war in which only the use of the Ring could give us surety of victory. It fills me with great sorrow and great fear: for much shall be destroyed and all may be lost. "
