Indeed, so!

And personally, it's a nice thing that the complete publication of TLotR and I are almost the same age (I being only nine days older by birthdate).

Lembas has a honey sort of taste anyway, doesn't it? It'll be fine as it is!

Well, I looked it up and found that the 50th anniversary is the Golden anniversary and the 55th is the Emerald Anniversary. So what's in the middle of gold and emeralds? The Euonymus fortunei 'Emerald 'n' Gold'; commonly known as the wintercreeper euonymus.
So I'm bringing a plant to the party; we need some foliage for decorations.

"What are you laughing at?"
"At myself. My little puny self," said Phillipa.

A toast to Professor Tolkien! - the architect of worlds, the father of dreams, the gifted man who opened a window for us to enchanted realms.
