Rat! he found breath to whisper, shaking. Are you afraid?
Afraid? murmured the Rat, his eyes shining with unutterable love.
Afraid! Of Him? O, never, never! And yet -- and yet -- O, Mole, I am afraid!
Then the two animals, crouching to the earth, bowed their heads and did worship.

King James Version!

Damn!

I actually nearly called it the authorised version.

Apart from that obvious gaffe, I did not realise it was a joke, sorry.

I must confess I am a complete heroine addict - a good heroine in a novel is an absolute must. Spare me these soppy prissy misses.

Oh, sorry, you meant heroin . . .

As far as I am concerned the jury is still out on Homosexual relationships. (I hate what they have done to that wonderful word 'gay') but I tend to think that as with many other things Paul was a man of his time. Many of the things he said are not now accepted such women's behaviour in Church, dress etc. Perhaps, (and I did say perhaps), we need to look again at the situation regarding same sex relationships. I certainly would not automatically put them all under the heading of 'sin'
