Got some books

Postby Solomons Song » December 27th, 2004, 5:06 pm

I got Till We Have Faces and Lewis' Space Trilogy for Christmas. Can't wait to read them. Gonna read Till We Have Faces first.

Does anyone have any advice regarding reading these four books?

If you like the Cosmic Trilogy, try some of Charles Williams' novels - they are similar in a number of respects to the Trilogy and will perhaps shed light from a different angle on quite a lot of what Lewis wrote.

Rat! he found breath to whisper, shaking. Are you afraid?
Afraid? murmured the Rat, his eyes shining with unutterable love.
Afraid! Of Him? O, never, never! And yet -- and yet -- O, Mole, I am afraid!
Then the two animals, crouching to the earth, bowed their heads and did worship.
