Comment on my choice: I've always loved The Great Divorce. It changed my whole way of thinkng about Heaven and Hell. I love the theological points it illustrates.
I am writing today from Kripalu Center for Yoga and Fitness in Lenox Massachusetts, where I went for a weekend seminar on creativity. Now waiting for the shuttle to Albany, New York, and the flight home. Kripalu has wireless, though, and I brought my lap top! Best of luck to everyone this upcoming week.

It's really almost impossible to say, but, for a number of reasons I could put Perelandra first, with The Great Divorce and The Last Battle close behind. A Grief Observed means a great deal to me, as well. From the academic works, I'd probably choose Poetry and Prose of the Sixteenth Century (Lewis' volume from O.H.E.L.).

The Great Divorce and A Grief Observed are tied for first with me.
